SacBreathe's mission is to improve lung health in the Sacramento Region by advocating for cleaner air, cleaner transportation, and increased health education.

Lung Health

We collaborate with healthcare professionals and community members to enhance the quality of life for individuals with asthma and COPD. Our Lung Health Collaborative offers education, screenings, and resources to support better breathing throughout the Sacramento Region.

Tobacco Prevention & Control

Our initiatives aim to reduce tobacco use and exposure through youth engagement, policy advocacy, and public education. Programs like the Youth Advisory Board and Smoke-Free Sacramento Project empower communities to promote tobacco-free environments.

Air Quality

We advocate for cleaner air by promoting sustainable transportation, waste reduction, and community-led monitoring. Projects such as Our Community CarShare and Sacramento Neighborhoods Activating on Air Quality (SNAAQ) engage residents in efforts to improve air quality and public health.
