Based on excellent feedback from last year’s Emigrant Trails Bike Trek, we will be returning to Petaluma for the 2012 Trek, before moving to a new location in 2013. Mark your calendars for September 7-9, 2012, and don’t miss your chance to join us for three days of cycling (including improved routes!), camping and FUN in Sonoma County. The ETBT – or Trek – is a three day cycling event that raises funds to support clean air, healthy lungs and a tobacco free tomorrow. The 2012 Trek will stage out of the Petaluma KOA where you will enjoy three days of cycling and two nights camping and amenities including a pool, banana bicycle rentals, an on-site arcade and more! This Trek is not a race and accommodates cyclists of various levels. Travel at your own pace – cycle, walk, or catch a ride with our on-road support team over challenging climbs and through stunning scenery. Each day you will have the option of choosing one of the routes provided that best meets your riding abilities with full on-road support and themed rest stops every 15-20 miles. Once in camp, the fun is just beginning. After a day of riding, you can relax with a massage, snacks or a refreshing beverage from our cantina. Afternoon and evening activities will round out your day. The cost of this adventure is $35 to register and a minimum of $450 in pre-collected tax-deductible donations. The Early Bird registration rate of $25 is valid until May 31. By participating in this event, you are supporting Breathe California of Sacramento-Emigrant Trails' innovative and grassroots programs to fight teenage smoking, asthma and dirty air. With your support, we will all breathe a little easier. Use the navigation bar to the left to learn more about the Trek! |
