Join us in South Lake Tahoe for the 2014 Emigrant Trails Bike Trek!
Mark your calendars for September 5-7, and don’t miss your chance to join us for three days of cycling, camping and FUN. The Emigrant Trails Bike Trek – or ETBT – is a three day cycling event that raises funds to support clean air, healthy lungs and a tobacco-free tomorrow.
The 2014 ETBT will stage out of Camp Richardson on the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Participantswill enjoy three days of cycling, two nights camping, catered meals, entertainment and more! This ETBT is not a race and accommodates cyclists of various levels. Travel at your own pace – cycle, walk, or catch a ride with our on-road support team over challenging climbs and through stunning scenery.
Each day you will have the option of choosing one of the routes provided that best meets your riding abilities with full on-road support and themed rest stops every 15-20 miles.Once in camp, the fun is just beginning. After a day of riding, you can relax with a massage, snacks or a refreshing beverage from our cantina. Afternoon and evening activities will round out your day.
The cost of this adventure is $35 to register and a minimum of $450 in pre-collected tax-deductible donations. An Early Bird registration fee of $25 is valid until May 31.By participating in this event, you are supporting Breathe California of Sacramento-Emigrant Trails' innovative and grassroots programs to fight teenage smoking, asthma and dirty air.
